When I first started, the way I trained was awful. I remember doing 4 sets of military presses, 4 sets of curls, 4 sets of pushups, and 4 sets of pullups then ending it there. I wasn't doing a bodybuilding regimen or a strongman regimen. I was just doing a bullshit lifting session honestly. To add on to that my diet was awful, so you can guess the result. I was clueless and it took me two years to realize that what I was doing was wrong.
The turning point for me was when I watched pumping iron which was like the equivalent to apocalypse now for war nerds. I was hooked and realized I needed to rethink the way I did everything.
I soon got on a bodybuilding regimen. I started doing two body parts a day and hitting those muscles as hard as possible and forcing muscle hypertrophy on them. With a better diet I built more muscle as a result.
Below, is where I am now.
